Aurora has a problem with residents relieving themselves in public. “Over the last several months, the Aurora Police Department and Aurora Code Compliance have received complaints about individuals residing in homes in Aurora that are otherwise vacant and have no running water or sewage facilities,” reads a bill making clear that relieving oneself in public is illegal in Aurora. “Property owners who live near these houses have complained that the occupiers of the vacant homes routinely urinate and defecate in the property adjacent to the dwelling in view of others who do not wish to observe such behavior.”
