City officials aggressively take action that disrupts places where the homeless gather but there still are no solutions for getting all of them off the streets. The Roanoke Rambler recently reported that the City of Roanoke seized the property next to Krispy Kreme Donuts which sits between Hershberger Road NW and Kroger to remove what they refer to as the "blight" left by those who were living in the area.
