My Hero Academia: Mirko Continues to Prove Why She Is Season 6’s Best Girl

The following contains spoilers for My Hero Academia Season 6, Episode 4, "Inheritance", now streaming on Crunchyroll, Funimation and Hulu.

My Hero Academia has reached a major turning point. Without sparing any manpower, the heroes launch an attack on the Paranormal Liberation Front. They divide their forces into two assault units — the Endeavor Team and the Edgeshot Team. The Endeavor Team is tasked with raiding the Jaku Hospital, Dr. Garaki Kyudai's main base of operation. Meanwhile, the Edgeshot Team is tasked with attacking the Paranormal Liberation Front's main headquarters. During the attack at the Jaku Hospital, a certain Rabbit Hero is wreaking more havoc than the other heroes — and her contribution only piles up in Episode 4.

CBR VIDEO OF THE DAY

Prior to confronting the villains, the Endeavor Team first focused on evacuating the civilians and innocents within the hospital. While they were doing that, Mirko alone breezed past the hospital's facilities in search of the morgue. She was also the first to encounter the emerging Nomus, as well as the one who warned the heroes of the enemies they would be facing. Most of all, Mirko discovered the vile doctor's laboratory. Mirko, however, wasn't able to make an arrest. Dr. Garaki unleashed his greatest creations upon her — the HIgh-End Nomus.

Mirko Continues To Be My Hero Academia's Best Girl

Mirko faced off against five of the High-End Nomus, each of which was stronger than the average professional hero. Despite the unfavorable situation, the Rabbit Hero didn't back off. She first attempted to evade the Nomus and pursue the doctor, but the abominations proved to be efficient nuisances. She was forced to fight all five of them before continuing her pursuit. Given that she was greatly outnumbered, Mirko had to dwindle their forces. Mirko parried the other High-Ends' attacks and focused on the most vulnerable. Her tactic worked; she managed to take out a High-End, though her right arm was mangled in the process.

Her backup eventually arrived. Even so, the High-Ends' focus was still on the Rabbit Hero. Crust, Endeavor, Eraserhead, and the others were being kept by another High-End. They had to combine their attacks to push the High-End out of the way. Meanwhile, Mirko was already feeling the effects of the drawn-out fight. She could tell that the High-Ends were getting smarter as the fight progressed. As such, she decided to ditch them and target Dr. Garaki and Shigaraki.

Mirko's Contributions In Season 6

The High-End Nomus wouldn't let her go. One managed to pierce holes in her body, while the other two grappled her. Even so, Mirko powered through. She ignored the High-Ends' attacks, as well as the damage she was accruing. She bolted toward the doctor and aimed to attack the vat containing Shigaraki's body. But just as she was about to deliver the finishing blow, the High-End Nomu's hair pierced her leg. Mirko gritted through it and still executed her Luna Arc attack, cracking the vat.

Mirko may have only shown her capabilities in Season 6 of My Hero Academia, but she effectively proves how incredible of a heroine she is. She has essentially carried the entire Endeavor Team up until Episode 4. Not only has she fought five High-End Nomus all by herself, she even eliminates one of them. She also grits through numerous injuries just to accomplish her mission.
