Tatsuya Endo's Spy x Family manga first appeared in Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ in March 2019, and the ongoing series has produced ten volumes so far. The story follows the comedic but also wholesome and loving interactions of the Forger family: the young daughter Anya, who has the ability to read minds, the father Loid, who is a deadly but anxious superspy, and the mother Yor, who is a skillful assassin.

The first cour of the adaptation by CloverWorks (Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia) and Wit Studio (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) debuted in April, becoming one of the smash hits of the spring 2022 anime season, and the second part premiered at the beginning of the month. The show stars Atsumi Tanezak (Arknights: Prelude to Dawn) as Anya, Takuya Eguchi (Fruits Basket) as Loid and Saori Hayami (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) as Yor.

Everyone Loves Spy x Family

Movic isn't the only company leveraging Spy x Family's incredible popularity to turn a profit. A myriad of collectibles for the series was released since the anime's premiere. Notably, designer hat brand CA4LA (pronounced "Kashira") recently re-released a recreation of the beret Anya's wears to school. It retails for 18,700 yen (approximately $127) and features a gold star pinned to the front and patterns of CA4LA and Eden Academy logos on the inside lining.

Moreover, the clothing brand Uniqlo has teamed up with Spy x Family to launch another apparel collection. Beginning Nov. 11, fans and collectors will be able to purchase multiple different adorable shirts. One showcases Anya's iconic line, "I like peanuts. I hate carrots," and another features Bond on the pocket. Similarly, Bandai announced a special line of Tamagotchis earlier this year that gamers to raise their own Anya, which will become available in December.

CloverWorks and Wit Studio's Spy x Family anime is available to stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu, and Endo's manga is distributed in English by VIZ Media.
