Genshin Impact Fan Redesigns Ayato to Match Ayaka’s New Outfit
A Genshin Impact fan has created an impressive outfit for Kamisato Ayato that matches his sister's new Springbloom Missive costume. Developer HoYoverse does not introduce too many character cosmetics to the game, at least compared to their other titles like Honkai Impact 3rd.
So far, Genshin Impact has only added eight character skins with Ayaka's "Springbloom Missive" and Lisa's "A Sobriquet Under Shade" outfits being the most recent additions. It seems like the game has a pattern of releasing new costumes around its two main annual events, the Lantern Rite Festival, and the Golden Apple Archipelago.

Reddit user AnilyanL has shared an impressive concept that equips the head of the Kamisato clan with a new outfit that has a similar color theme to Ayaka's new skin. Fans seem to like Ayato's new look as the post reached over 2k upvotes with many players claiming that HoYoverse should definitely give matching outfits to the sibling duo. The official storyline has confirmed that Ayato is Ayaka's older brother who plays a very important role in the Inazuma arc. Despite being the Yashiro Commissioner, Ayato likes to keep a lower profile while dealing with Inazuma's corrupt government officials.
When it comes to his power on the battlefield, Ayato is considered an S-tier DPS character in Genshin Impact. His ability to deal damage even when he's not on the field makes him also a great fit for the sub-DPS role, especially for team comps that rely on strong Hydro application. Players who want to add Ayato to their roster will probably have to wait for a couple of months as he was featured in the second banner of the previous update 3.3.
He arrived alongside Raiden Shogun and their banner managed to break Genshin Impact's overall revenue record. Ayato has great synergy with his sister Ayaka, and they have the potential to trigger Frozen, which is one of the best elemental reactions in the game that can completely immobilize enemies. The recent live stream event for version 3.5 has confirmed that Ayaka will finally receive a re-run after 11 months.
She will be placed on the second part of Genshin Impact update 3.5 alongside another Cryo user named Shenhe. Just like her brother, Ayaka is also one of the best DPS characters in the game with a strong focus on dealing elemental damage. Players who want to get her DPS numbers to the next level should also try to acquire Ayaka's signature sword, Mistsplitter Reforged.
Genshin Impact is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently under development.
