Zelda: Breath of the Wild Daruk First 4 Figures Statue Gets Reveal Date

First 4 Figures has set a date for the reveal of its newest statue, which will be Daruk from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Daruk was one of the principal characters in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and has become a fan favorite character in the game's community.

Daruk is one of the four Champions seen in Breath of the Wild who serve as the sources of the game's Divine Beasts questlines. Known for being a friendly Goron character, Daruk is the Champion seen by players when they encounter the Vah Rudania, one of four Divine Beasts found in the game. Daruk returned as a playable character in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which takes place 100 years before Breath of the Wild. His friendly and humble personality has made him popular with fans.

Daruk is the subject of the next statue from First 4 Figures in its Breath of the Wild line. First 4 Figures is best known for making high-end collectible statues based on anime and video game properties. It has previously made a figurine of the Metroid Prime Varia Suit worn by Samus Aran. First 4 Figures announced in a tweet that it will be hosting a live stream on February 28, when it will reveal the Daruk statue's pricing, editions, features, and extra details.

First 4 Figures also tweeted that it will be hosting a giveaway for the Daruk state and encouraged fans to enter. The company has previously released other statues based on characters from Breath of the Wild which included Link, Zelda, and Champions Mipha and Urbosa. With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom only a few months from release, First 4 Figures could potentially take fan ideas for statues as it did with the Sonic the Hedgehog Chao Garden statue series.

The Legend of Zelda remains one of Nintendo's premiere franchises and has always been popular with collectors. By collaborating with First 4 Figures, Zelda fans have gotten much more to collect. It is likely that there could be more statues based on Tears of the Kingdom, potentially playing off the game’s new features. An easy choice of statue would be a large-scale version of the famous Tears of the Kingdom Link statue shown in a Japan Nintendo Live Event. This statue was later recreated as an amiibo, but First 4 Figures could keep their Zelda line going strong by introducing it as a larger statue in line with their previous offerings. If that doesn’t end up happening, Zelda fans will still have plenty to look forward to when it comes to collectibles from First 4 Figures.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available on Nintendo Switch.
