How to get the new Multiview feature on YouTube TV to enjoy March Madness
Earlier this week, YouTube TV announced Multiview mode and added it as a beta feature to the platform. This is a feature that users have been waiting for, for quite some time. And on Thursday, users started to get a taste of it. However, this is in beta, so how do you access it? Well, that’s what we’re here to show you today. We’ll show you a trick you can use to get it added to your account right away. And not miss a moment of March Madness.
So here’s how you can get Multiview mode onto your YouTube TV account.
What is Multiview on YouTube TV?
Multiview is the official name for the Mosaic Mode feature that they showed off last year. It was showed off just before they got the NFL Sunday Ticket package that will debut later this year. And now it is available in Beta.
With Multiview, you will be able to watch up to four games at a time on the same screen. This way you can watch all of the action and not miss a minute.
When it first debuted on Thursday, YouTube was only allowing users to watch two games side-by-side. But that later rolled out to watching four. Which was how it was supposed to work in the first place, so it was likely that YouTube was doing a slow rollout here.
This is going to be a big feature for sports fans, even though YouTube TV has lost quite a few sports channels as of late.
How to get Multiview on YouTube TV
Since Multiview is a beta feature right now, not everyone has access to it just yet. But there is a quick way to get it added to your account. Here’s how you can do it.
- Click here to visit the YouTube TV support page.
- Next, fill out the form with your name.
- Under the section that asks “How can we help you?” copy and paste this message “Please add Multiview to my profile”.
- Submit the form.
- Now you’ll need to wait for Youtube to contact you to confirm your request.
It could take a while to get this added to your account, as it’s pretty likely that a number of people are requesting this feature, with March Madness just kicking into full gear.
If you have multiple profiles on your YouTube TV account, you will need to have each profile user repeat the steps above to get Multiview.
