Tom Brady Allegedly Decided To Finally Retire From Football Because Another Season Could Put His Health At Risk
Tom Brady shocked his fans when he finally and officially announced his retirement from football.
In his video, the famous athlete said that he wants to focus on being a dad to his three children. Shortly after, he shared a snap of his kids with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen and his eldest son with his former partner on Valentine’s Day.
Now, a source for Us Weekly said that Brady made the difficult decision to quit the sport that he loves so much because he realized that it could jeopardize his health if he continues to play in the field.
“He knew that another season could be detrimental to his health. He wanted to stay healthy so he can be there for his three kids,” the source said.
The source also said that Brady received the support of his ex-wife Bundchen even if his decision to quit came a bit too late to save their marriage. The exes announced their divorce months ago and sources alleged that one of the reasons why their marriage failed was because Brady was more focused on his career than his family.
“It may have been too late to save their marriage, but she’s happy the kids will get to see more of him,” the source said.
According to the source, since Brady and Bundchen are both single today, it’s possible for the football star to try and pursue his ex-wife again.
“There’s a possibility Tom could be trying to get her back. But Gisele isn’t leaving her career again for him anytime soon,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Brady has plans to pursue Bundchen again now that he will no longer play football.
It is important to note that he previously promised his wife that he would retire from the sport but then he took it back and played for another season.
Sources claimed that this was why Bundchen decided to end her marriage to Brady. After giving him an ultimatum, he still opted to play football with his team.
But after their recent loss, it is highly likely that Brady has realized that now is the best time to bow out of the sport that he loves dearly.
